This sounds like the acts of the early disciples. My only word to the Vineyard workers is to forge ahead.
Though I am in faraway Ghana, and a Retired Senior Police Officer, I experienced the same rigged grounds when I started from the beginning in bringing up the current Cape Coast Police Church from it’s embryonic stage as a Morning Devotional point .
My transfer to Kumasi.and through the introduction of myself and my wife by Pastor Aboah Offei to the then Ashanti Presbytery Chairperson, Moderator Frimpong Manso who like Paul offered his whole newly built Abuakwa Residence to me as my official quarters until my next transfer to Sunyani Ebenezer Congregation where I became one of the bedrock in establishing the 1st Service in 2010 thereof. I was in a Cumminion Service one Sunday when I had a call that my transfer truck was at my quarters awaiting my transfer to Accra. I announced to the Congregation but ended up in great misgivings. At the end of the 1st Service, the whole Congregation followed me to my living quarters to meet the diesel engine of my transfer truck still running.
Members helped me to park and here to Accra I came that very day.
I joined the Calvary Congregation which was just a 100metres away. After dedication and prayer guidance of Papa Frimpong Manso, I contested as a Presbyter and won with landslide victory for 2nd term.
My narration is to give praise to God for the wonderful things he has done in the life of my entire family and to urge Papa Frimpong Manso and Mrs Lucy Frimpong-Manso in good stead in shepherding the flock.
It is my fervent prayer that the Good Lord.may.grant a way for me and my wife to pay you a visit.someday.

I retired as an ASST. SUPT OF POLICE (ASP) in 2014 after 41yrs of service.
I worked at various stations including Koforidua, Mampong Akwapim, Cape Coast, Accra Headquarters, Kumasi, Sunyani and back to Accra where I retired.
It is worth mentioning that at a time when the Police Admnistration needed an elite Unit to police the police which was known as the SPECIAL POLICE COMMAND, I was amongst the 12 officers to be selected after a meticulous search for outstanding officers. I worked in this Unit for 8yrs till there arose the need for an officer to be sent to Asokwa MTTD to curb persistent report of unprofessionalism at that Unit. Here, another 8yrs was served.
I was further transferred to Sunyani to relieve an officer who had a fetish priest as a wife. Anytime a case is reported at the station, the officer would have a way to alert the wife who would appear from nowhere and pretending to be in a trance, she would subject the suspect to a trial by ordeal and thereby pronounced instant judgement. She will then invite the two parties to her shrine and superintendent over the case there. I spent 6yrs. Meanwhile, in between 1991to 2010, I served with the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia for 2yrs,
International Police Task Force under the UN in Bosnia Herzegovina 2002-2003.
United Nations African Union in Darfur, Sudan between 2007-2009.
On my return, there was a big conflict in Ashaiman, Accra between the Driver’s Union and the MTTD where a driver lost his life. The officers there were immediately transferred and I was posted there. At the end of my tenure of duty, it was the very Drivers Union who organised my send off party with various gifts to me and my wife and a Citation.
God bless, Officer. 🙏
